Covid Consequences
As we write this in early January 2021 both the Isle of Man and most of the UK and Ireland are in lockdown of one form or another.  The Island's borders are closed to all but emergency access and the advice from Government is that they are unlikely to open to anything close to normality before "the Spring" (a non-defined term).

It is clear from this that we cannot promote the staging of a Festival in 2021.  The border may or may not be open by Easter (first weekend in April) but either way plans have to be made in advance both by the organisers and those wishing to travel and, in these circumstances, that is not practicable.  Consequently, with great regret we are cancelling the 2021 Festival.

We can only hope the World has shaken off this madness by 2022.

We are leaving the website set up as it was for the cancelled 2020 event, for the information of interested parties.

With best wishes and thanks to all our supporters... stay safe!

The Festival

A brilliant weekend's shooting and a chance for that perfect Easter break for the whole family in the beautiful Isle of Man.  Start planning now.  Everything you need is on these pages.

2020 sees the Festival alive and well, and enjoying its 65th year.  The meeting is once again a British Shooting Selection Event for 50m Rifle, all on Sius electronic targets. There's a massive range of individual events in the programme; just click on the separate discipline pages and feast your eyes.  Something for every enthusiast and many of the competitions are classified to ensure everyone taking part has the chance of going home with some awards in their bag.
The 50m Rifle events take place on the fabulous Sinclair Range, fully equipped with Sius electronic targets and delivering probably the best shooting experience in the country.  Come on over and try it for yourself, and don't forget the family.  Easter can be a superb time to explore the beautiful Isle of Man.  All the links you need to turn the trip into a wonderful family holiday are on the Travel & Accommodation page.
And when the shooting's all done you can round the weekend off at the Sunday evening awards dinner, a relaxed and friendly occasion to meet up with old friends and celebrate your success or swap stories about the moment you squeezed the trigger and just knew you shouldn't.  Either way, it will be a weekend to remember: we promise!
